NEW MARKET SOLAR

Liberty Power is currently constructing the New Market Solar Project (“the project”) in Clay and Whiteoak Townships in Highland County, Ohio. The Project consists of two facilities: Highland 4, a 65-megawatt facility that will occupy 582 acres, and Highland 2, a 35-megawatt facility that will occupy 222 acres. The project will generate clean, renewable electricity which will be delivered to the regional grid through Dayton Power & Light’s Clay Substation. The project received OPSB approval on March 18th, 2021 for the Highland 4 facility (20-1288-EL-BGN). As part of the siting process, environmental resources, natural resources, and visual impacts were considered and impacts were minimized. The project is anticipated to achieve full commercial operations by Q4 of 2022.
